St Joseph's Catholic Primary School is a voluntary-aided primary school. This means that we follow Lewisham's admissions arrangements but also apply our own criteria when it comes to oversubscription. Please see the section Admission Policies on the right for more information.
Parents who wish to consider St Joseph's Catholic Primary School as their school for Reception (Aged 4 -5), must complete an online Common Application Form which is available from the local authority website:
The school welcomes applications from families of all faiths, and families of no faith.
The application process begins on 1st September and you must complete your application and submit all documents by 15th January 2026. You will be notified if the outcome, by the local authority, on 16th April 2026.
St Joseph's, is a one-form entry primary school and takes cohorts from Reception (aged 4 by the beginning of the school year) to Year 6 (aged 10 to 11).

For admission to the school in other year groups, parents must complete an In-Year Admission Form online which is available from the London Borough of Lewisham, see the link below, and also complete a Supplementary Information Form, which you return to the school office.
