Week 14 (29.06.2020)
Dear Parents and Carers,
It is lovely to see so many of our children back in school. The children have all returned happy and they have all settled back in to their new routines really well.
Thank you to all of you parents for preparing your children and also all of our staff for ensuring that the children are relaxed and happy despite the new rules and routines.
The weather does seem to have changed again today - it was certainly a lot colder standing at the gate this morning.
All parents will be receiving notification shortly for Parent Pay - where we will be taking all payments for school dinner money, after school clubs and school uniform from this point on. Thank you to our Year 6 Parents for activating their accounts already.
This week, we say goodbye to Mr Jack. As you all know, he has always been extremely supportive to all of us: parents, pupils and staff alike. It is not often that we meet someone as dedicated and caring as Mr Jack, and we all know that he will be missed greatly at St Joseph's. Although we are all extremely sorry to see Jack go, I am sure that like us, you congratulate him on this next stage in his career. He has been an asset to our school and I know that his patience, support and helpfulness will be valued and appreciated in his new team. Thank you Jack, we will keep in touch.
Thank you to the parents who have applied for Free School Meals last week. You will be receiving £90 in food vouchers for the summer holidays. If you have not already applied, do give us a call if you need any help with your application.
I have attached the prayers for this week and the assembly link below.
Stay safe and if there is anything that we can do, please do get in touch.
