Pupil voice is so important to us. Our School Council Members meet regularly and take an active part in school improvement, meeting with Senior Leaders and discussing the ways in which we can continue to improve life at St Joseph's.
Our School Council Representatives are made up of two children from each class. The children are voted in by their peers each term and we aim to provide as many different opportunities for the children whilst in role.
The School Council Representatives visited the Houses of Parliament in the Autumn Term. They visited the Houses of Commons and shared their vast knowledge of British History with our tour guide.
Last year, the school council were eager for us to get a school pet, specifically a school dog. After extensive research, visiting other schools with school dogs and analysing the risks and benefits of us getting a dog, we adopted Paddy, our school Cockapoo.
