St Joseph's serves the Catholic Parish of Our Lady of the Assumption on Deptford High Street. Fr Cosmas is the parish priest, and he is a welcome visitor to our school. 

Each week, the classes take turns to join the parish community for mass in the parish church. Fr Cosmas will also visit us in school and say mass in our school hall. A number of our pupils are servers, both for Sunday mass and school masses.

For feast days, the whole school joins the parish community in church.

Although a number of families belong to Our Lady of the Assumption parish, we also have a large number of families who attend neighbouring parishes.
