Our Music teacher works at St Joseph's on Mondays and Tuesdays. Each term, the children experience both theory and practical lessons and they experience a range of different instruments, giving them a taste for instruments that they would not usually encounter. This has included whole class ukulele, vocal, steel pans or samba drums.

The children at St Joseph's are incredibly talented and the choir is just one group that we are very proud of. Each Tuesday, Miss Clegg and Ms Powell lead the choir and prepare them for concerts and performances. The next performance will be at Lewisham Theatre, where they will take part in the Lewisham Live Concert.

Parents also have the option to sign their children up to Rocksteady, where children learn not only which instrument they would like to perform, but they also find out what it is like to play in a band. The performances each term really are incredible. (At the moment, Rocksteady will not be visiting in the Autumn Term. We will let you know when this can resume.)
